Company History

Mars Manufacturing was established in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1946 by John Kreeger and two partners. Their focus was the design and building of special machinery with primary emphasis on printing presses and press modifications.

During the 1950s, in addition to our quickly growing contract manufacturing efforts, we developed and began manufacturing a line of large-format blueprint folding machinery which gained international respect. In 1961, our current corporate name, Marbank Company, was adopted as the brand name for the folding machine line.

Over the years, Mars Manufacturing has grown from our original space in the basement of John Kreeger’s house on Delta Ave. to our present, modern facility in the east end of Cincinnati.

From our beginnings with a single manual lathe, we have grown to become a complete CNC machine shop with the most current technology and manufacturing facilities. During that time, we have produced machinery for a broad range of industries: printing, paper folding, textiles, medical laboratories, adhesion testing, woodworking, highway maintenance, packaging, material handling, clocks, machine tools, food processing, mining machinery, and many others.

We are proud to have contributed to the growth and success of our customers over the decades. We invite you to join our family of satisfied customers.
